What is Worship
Worship is a lifestyle that involves more than singing songs or raising our hands on Sunday mornings. True worship begins each day as we thank God for His goodness and choose to live for Him as we surrender to His will and plan for our lives. When we gather on Sunday mornings, our heart is to respond to our God for the outpouring of His love, grace, mercy and presence in our lives!
Worship Style
We play a variety of modern worship songs that bring honor & praise to our God for who He is and all He does! We celebrate with fun, high energy songs, but also play songs that revere our Savior and allow us to reflect on His goodness. Our hope is to give God all of the honor, glory and praise & to give people a place to enter into communion with God through the worship of His name!

Alex Zimmerman
Keys, Bass, Acoustic & Vocals
I have been married to my wife Brandi for 19 years and we have two children. During the day, I work as a senior business analyst in a call center and in my free time, I enjoy creating things with my hands like woodwork and metal forging with my son. I am a musician at heart and play the keyboard, bass, and acoustic guitar. I also enjoy helping the worship team out in the sound booth as well as providing hands on technical assistance with setup and troubleshooting. Serving in God’s house is very important to me and that we do it well and to His glory, not ours. We have a lot of fun serving in this ministry, but at the end of the day, fun or not, this is about worshipping and leading God’s people in worship. In my eyes, there is no other ministry as rewarding as leading God’s people in worship.

I'm Andrew! I have a beautiful wife Becky and together we have 7 crazy kiddos, Jaden, Serenity, Sypress, Cain, Penelope, Dorian and Draven. I have worked for the state for 15 years. I enjoy working out at the gym and trying to sing. I love being apart of the worship team because they are very supportive and are willing to work with you till you are comfortable with singing. I love worshiping because God moves through me to help touch hearts and that is a feeling like no other feeling in the world!

Hi, I’m Audry! In October of 2021 I made a decision to step completely outside of my comfort zone and join the worship team. Since joining, I have realized what a blessing it has been to be part of a team that works together to serve the Church. As I continue to learn and grow, I know that this is a ministry the Lord has called me into. Outside of worship, I am majoring in education in hopes of becoming a middle school English teacher!

I am an engineering tech at pantex. I love watching the Dallas stars hockey any chance I get with family and friends. I love the way worship feels behind a drum set. It is a completely different way to worship!

Worship has been a big part of my life for a little over 10 years now! I never get tired of participating in worship. I find that it’s when my heart is most open to God. It’s also helped me to make friends and connect within the church. Beyond the walls of our church, I work as a sophomore English teacher at Palo Duro High School.

I’m a new stay at home mom after working in the medical field for nearly 20 years. I’m also a co-leader for Girl Scout troop 5600. I enjoy spending time with my scouts and family and traveling. I feel that we should use our gifts that God has given us to benefit Him, that’s why I enjoy being part of the worship team.

Hi, I'm Kayla! I have been going to Family Life since I was about 6 years old and have been involved in many different ministries. Worship has always been a huge part of my life and walk with Christ, and I am so thankful that I get to be a part of this team. I have my RN license, but I currently work in the church office. I've been married for two years and have a one-year-old. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching shows, and spending time with my family.

I love reading and I am so grateful to be on the Worship team because I get to be a vessel used by God to help people through difficult times and joyful times and just to praise! Stephanie Martinez

I am married to Anthony Martinez and have 2 beautiful daughters, Ellianna and Eva. I have worked at Western Photo for 20 years where I photograph the local and area schools as well as designing elementary school yearbooks.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening, cooking and traveling but my heart is in worship. I have been singing in church since I was a child. I am so grateful to be a part of the FLC Worship team and as the song goes, “With every breath that I am able, I will sing of the Goodness of God”
